What this site is

This is a small, independently run reference project. It tracks 210 Burger King menu items across 9 categories, holds price ranges for 165 of them, and publishes calorie figures cross-checked between two independent nutrition databases. Prices across the tracked menu run $1.10–$12.39. Every one of those numbers is computed directly from a single dataset rather than typed into a page, which is what stops one page saying "80+ items" while another says "94 items".

The site was built because fast-food menu information online is unusually bad. Prices are quoted as though they were national when they are set franchise by franchise — Burger King's parent company, Restaurant Brands International, reports that franchise structure in its filings — calorie figures are frequently computed from recipes rather than taken from published labels, and pages routinely advertise a current date while serving figures that are years old. Those are fixable problems, and fixing them is the entire purpose here.

How the data is compiled

Menu data is assembled by a build script that reads raw captures of our sources and produces a single dataset file. Nothing is typed in by hand, and nothing is estimated. If a figure cannot be sourced it is left out rather than guessed at, because a wrong price on a price site is worse than no price.

Calorie figures are cross-checked between two current nutrition databases. Where they agree, we publish the figure. Where they disagree, we publish the range and mark the item disputed rather than pick whichever number we prefer. Prices come from two independent price trackers, which give us the low and high bounds of each range. Supporting nutrition detail — fat, sodium, carbohydrate, protein — comes from Burger King's own published nutrition guide, used with its April 2020 date attached because that is when it was last revised.

Categories we track

The menu is grouped into 9 categories: Whoppers, Burgers, Chicken, Breakfast, Sides, Desserts, Fish, Drinks, Other. Category totals and price ranges shown anywhere on the site are computed from the dataset at build time, so they always agree with the item listings they summarise.

What this site does not do

It does not take orders, sell food, issue or honour coupons, process refunds, handle complaints about a restaurant visit, or accept job applications. We have no ability to help with any of those, because we are not Burger King. For anything involving an actual restaurant, an actual order or actual employment, use the official Burger King website or app, or contact the restaurant directly.

We also do not publish user reviews or star ratings, and we do not mark up our pages with review or rating structured data. We do not collect reviews, and inventing rating markup for a brand we do not own would be dishonest to readers and a straightforward violation of Google's structured data policies.

Accuracy and corrections

Menu data moves constantly. Items are added and quietly discontinued, prices change at franchise level, and recipes are reformulated. We rebuild daily and re-check against our sources, but we will still sometimes be behind or wrong. If you spot an error, our contact page explains what to send. Reports naming the item, the figure and the location are the ones we can act on fastest.

When we correct something material, we correct it in the dataset so that every page quoting that figure updates together. That is a deliberate consequence of computing numbers from one source of truth rather than writing them into individual pages.

How the site is funded

This site is intended to be supported by advertising. Advertising has no influence on the data: prices and calorie figures are produced by a build script from named sources, and there is no mechanism by which an advertiser could change them. We do not accept payment to feature, favour or omit a menu item or a brand. Our privacy policy explains what advertising means for the data collected when you visit.

Trademarks

Burger King®, Whopper® and related marks are registered trademarks of Burger King Corporation. They are used here descriptively, to identify the products being written about, which is what trademark law permits. We do not use Burger King's logo as our own, we do not reproduce their marketing copy, and we do not claim any affiliation. Our terms page covers this in more detail.
